Dogs took to the Town Hall lawn on Saturday to search for goodies the Easter Bunny left them – eggs filled with treats.
The pups were on a mission, with many of them opening the eggs themselves to eat the well-deserved treats inside.
The Hounds on the Hunt event was hosted by the Swampscott Recreation Department. Yappy Pups Playhouse, K Doodles Away and Polkadog had tables.
The department is also hosting a human egg hunt on Saturday, April 4. The egg hunt will begin at 1:15 p.m., with face painting and lawn fun to follow. To register, visit https://swampscott.recdesk.com/Community/Program/Detail?programId=124.
