Today is the last day for Swampscott artists to apply to be vendors at the annual Made by 01907 celebration, happening Saturday, November 8.

The event will be held at First Church, 40 Monument Ave. It celebrates arts, crafts, and handmade creations by Swampscott’s artisan community.

“We invite all artists and artisans, whatever their medium, to apply,” the application reads. “Due to limited space a spot cannot be guaranteed and past participation does not guarantee acceptance.”

To apply, visit bit.ly/420krCJ.

Applicants must reside in Swampscott (ZIP code 01907) to be eligible. Creations must be handmade locally and not mass produced by a kit.

The application asks for an artist bio, a brief description of the work, a website, and a business name.

“Selection criteria will ensure a diverse range of mediums by considering techniques/materials/quality, as well as availability of floor space, wall space/outlets,” the application reads.

Accepted artists will be notified by September 15 and must submit the $60 participation fee by September 22.

Each vendor will have about an 8.5-feet by 4-feet area. Chairs will be provided, but vendors must bring their own tables and setup materials.
