We are on a mission to spread the word about the Swampscott Tides…and you can help us.
On Saturday, May 30 from 1 to 4pm we will be knocking on doors to inform our community about the Swampscott Tides, the free online independent community newspaper, available to EVERYONE.
We are calling this town-wide canvas our All Aboard Campaign, and our goal is to knock on every door and reach every household in one day (Rain date is May 31st). We hope to encourage everyone to subscribe to the Catch of the Week, our weekly newsletter with the top stories delivered by email every Friday morning.
As you already know, Swampscott Tides is a nonprofit organization, established as a public good to keep our town informed and engaged. You can help us reach our goal by signing up to be a volunteer ambassador. We will supply:
- Simple training
- Branded ‘merch’: t-shirts and baseball caps
- Door hangers with a ‘how to subscribe’ message
- Your route
On May 30th, volunteer canvassers will meet at 1pm at the UU Church of Greater Lynn to get their t-shirts, baseball caps and door hangers before fanning out to go door-to-door. So, grab a buddy and plan to join the fun. To sign up to volunteer, please complete the below form by May 18th.
