The Swampscott Senior Center was transformed into a haunted hall of fun on Friday, as residents arrived in costume for a frightfully festive Halloween lunch.
Chef Theo Carangelo served up a ghoulishly good menu featuring skull-shaped meatloaves and spider cupcakes.
Ghosts, goblins, and giddy trick-or-treaters filled the room, with costumes ranging from Snow White and Minnie Mouse to a grinning skeleton, cookies-and-milk, and even a walking Scrabble board.
