Swampscott residents will have the opportunity to explore, climb on and interact with large vehicles of all shapes and sizes this Saturday.

Touch a Truck will take place in the front parking lot of Swampscott High School on Saturday, May 16, from 8 a.m. to noon. The event will feature trucks from local first responders, the Department of Public Works and construction companies

“It is meant for little ones and their families to see and learn about a variety of trucks and vehicles,” said Noah Oubala, the class president for the Class of 2028. “We ran it last year and it was a great success so we couldn’t help but make it an annual event.”

Snacks and face painting will also be available.

Admission is $5 per person, with a maximum cost of $20 per family. Proceeds will benefit the Class of 2028 and Sora the police dog.
