To Infinity and Beyond Swampscott: Toy Story Hunt Offers Disney Prize

Magic Me Vacations has Swampscott in a town-wide scavenger hunt, for the chance to win a gift card to Disney.

The scavenger hunt is themed around Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story franchise. Disney and Universal vacation planning service Magic Me Vacations has “lost” Toy Story character toys around Swampscott, and residents who spot them could win a $100 Disney gift card.

Residents are encouraged to snap a photo of the toys and post where they found them, tagging @MagicMeVacations and using the hashtag #LostToyAdventure.

“Toys will be around town,” the organization posted. “Make sure to keep an eye open at the park, beach, restaurants, library, etc.”

Each tagged post counts as an entry.

“Keep your eyes open, Swampscott,” Magic Me Vacations wrote. “They are all around town! You never know where our toys might show up next.”

Winners will be selected July 31.

Magic Me Vacations is an authorized Disney vacation planner and Universal Orlando specialist. The agency helps travelers navigate the complexities of planning trips to Disney and Universal destinations.

Disney’s newest movie, Toy Story 5, is now in theaters, as of June 19. The animated blockbuster follows Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks), Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen), Jessie (voiced by Joan Cusack) and the rest of the toy gang as they face technology that is invading playtime. Lilypad (voiced by Greta Lee) is a tablet device the classic action figures, ragdolls and plushies now have to go up against while entertaining their child, Bonnie.

Magic Me Vacations will also host a “Toy Story Activity Day” at the Swampscott Farmers Market on Saturday, June 28.
